OTTAWA, Kan. – For the first time in her career, Ottawa University setter
Haylee O'Meara was named KCAC Setter of the Week the conference office announced on Monday afternoon.
O'Meara, a setter/outside hitter, from Kansas City, Mo. had 36 assists, five service aces, 17 digs, and six blocks in two victories last week for the Braves. In OU's 6-2 offense, she averaged 18 assists per match and six assists per set. O'Meara also averaged 2.8 digs per set and 8.5 digs per match.
Ottawa (13-9, 4-0) returns to the court on Tuesday, Oct. 11 against Bethel College in North Newton, Kan. First serve is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
