#RV Braves Handle York, 3-0

OTTAWA, Kan. – The Ottawa University women's volleyball team earned its 11th straight victory with a 3-0; 25-16, 25-12, 25-11; win over York University on Tuesday night in Wilson Field House. The Braves have a one match lead over second place Oklahoma Wesleyan University in the KCAC standings with three matches remaining in the regular season. Kaitlyn Haller recorded her second straight triple-double, her fourth, of the season in the win.

How it Happened
  • Ottawa raced out to a 6-1 lead over York in set one. A kill by Lillian Holden gave OU an 8-2 lead. A kill by Alexa Boyle and a Panther attacking error pushed the OU lead to 16-9. York never threatened the OU lead and the Braves took the 25-16 victory.
  • A kill by Katelyn Elstun, a Kennedi Wyrick service ace and a ball handling error by the Panthers gave the Braves an 11-6 lead in set two. Ottawa never relinquished its lead, taking the 25-12 victory.
  • The Braves scored the first three points in set three and never looked back, taking the 25-11 victory.
