Braves Place Seventh Overall at the KCAC Match Play Event

DODGE CITY, Kan. – The Ottawa University men's golf team placed seventh overall at the KCAC Match Play event on Monday and Tuesday in Dodge City, Kan.

Ottawa fell in their first round match to Kansas Wesleyan, 3-1-1. Devun  Salazar picked up the win for the Braves and Carson Towey tied his opponent. In their second round match, Ottawa was defeated by Evangel, 3-1-1. Towey earned the win in the semifinal match and Salazar tied in his match. The Braves earned seventh by defeating Southwestern, 3-2-0. Towey, Salazar and Kyle Dulle led the Braves to victory with wins in their matches.

The Braves will wrap up their 2022 season on Monday, October 10th at the Tabor College Invitational. The Tabor College Invitational will be held at the Sand Creek Station Golf Course.
