The Braves earned a 3-0; 25-21, 25-21, 25-20; win over McPherson College on Wednesday night in Wilson Field House. The win was OU's 13th straight. Ottawa finished the match with 43 kills, a .265 attacking percentage, 40 assists, three service aces, 54 digs, and 10 team blocks.
The win clinched at least a share of the KCAC Championship for the Braves. It is OU's ninth KCAC Championship, 10th overall. The championship is OU's third straight regular season title. The win also qualified OU for its eighth straight trip to the NAIA National Tournament, 10th overall.
Kaitlyn Haller was named KCAC Setter of the Week for the fifth time and
Radaisy Valdez earned KCAC Attacker of the Week honors for the third time for their efforts in wins over York University and Bethany College. Haller finished her week with 41 assists, one service ace, 24 digs, four blocks, and 16 kills. She also had a .405 attacking percentage. In the win over York, Haller finished the match with her fourth triple double of the season (11K/20A/11D). She averaged a double-double on the week, 20.5 assists and 12 digs per match. In OU's 6-2 offense, Haller averaged 6.8 assists and four digs per set. Valdez had 28 kills, a .565 attacking percentage, two digs, and three blocks in two victories last week. She averaged 4.6 kills per set and 14 kills per match.
Radaisy Valdez leads the Braves in kills with 376. She is averaging 3.3 kills per set.
Haylee O'Meara leads the team in assists with 590, an average of 5.3 assists per set. O'Meara and
Jadore Hayes lead the Braves in service aces with 36 apiece. Hayes is also OU's leader in digs with 540. She is averaging 4.8 digs per set.
Elli Rogers is OU's leader in blocks with 101. She is averaging 0.9 per set.
During OU's run of 13 straight victories, the Braves are averaging 13.8 kills per set, 12.8 assists per set, 1.7 service aces per set, 18.3 digs per set, and 1.9 blocks per set. Ottawa has a .242 attacking percentage.

Saturday is the 93rd meeting between Ottawa University and Friends University. The Falcons lead the series, 52-40 but the Braves are on a five match winning streak against Friends. OU has not dropped a set to Friends in the last three matches. The Braves won the match last season on Nov. 6 in Wilson Field House, 3-0; 25-22, 25-15, 25-17. The first meeting between the teams happened on Sept. 21, 1977 in Wilson Field House. OU won the match 2-1; 12-15, 15-5, 15-10.
Friends University is 12-19 overall and 5-6 in the KCAC. The Falcons enter Saturday's match coming off a 3-2 loss to Tabor College in Hillsboro on Wednesday evening.
In the loss to Tabor, the Falcons had 55 kills, a .192 attacking percentage, 51 assists, three service aces, 85 digs, and six blocks. Sarah Lazar led Friends with 21 kills. She had a .436 attacking percentage. Cajia Crawford had 19 kills and eight digs. Maddy Strecker led the Falcons with 36 assists, Antonia Perier finished with 24 digs, and Lazar had four blocks.
Through 31 matches, Friends is averaging 10.9 kills per set, 10.3 assists per set, 1.8 blocks per set, 1.1 service aces per set, and 15.5 digs per set. The Falcons have a .152 attacking percentage.
