JAMESTOWN, N.D. – The Ottawa University men's volleyball team lost 3-0; 25-17, 25-14, 25-15; to no. 7 University of Jamestown in the GPAC Tournament Championship Match on Saturday evening.
How it Happened
- Jamestown took the early 6-1 lead over the Braves in set one. The Jimmies increased its lead to 15-10. OU cut the deficit to four on two straight Jimmie attacking errors, 19-15. Ottawa was not able to rally and Jamestown took the 25-17 victory.
- A kill by Ashan Jordan put OU within 6-5 in set two. The Jimmies responded with a run, taking an 18-10 lead over the Braves. OU was not able stage a comeback and Jamestown took the 25-14 victory.
- The Braves jumped out to a 5-3 lead in set three. Jamestown rallied, tying the set at 7-7. Ottawa retook the lead on a kill by Jordan, 8-7. The Jimmies scored the next four points, taking an 11-8 lead over the Braves. Ottawa was not able answer and Jamestown took the 25-15 victory.
