Braves Host Kansas Wesleyan For 2022 KCAC Opener

OTTAWA, Kan. -- The Ottawa University women's soccer team will play the last of three straight home games, hosting Kansas Wesleyan at AdventHealth Field in the 2022 KCAC Opener on Friday, September 16th at 5 p.m.
 
  • The Braves are coming off back-to-back ties against William Woods and Park. Isabelle Conte scored a late equalizer in 89th minute against Park to earn the Braves a 2-2 draw in their previous game.
   
  • The Coyotes are 0-5 so far this season, but have kept every game close not losing any of their games by more than one goal.
 
  • KWU's offense is led by Leoni Enzlmuller, who as tallied two goals. She is followed by Kayla Deaver and Lissette Garcia with one goal each. 
 
  • Ottawa trails the overall series 10-12-4, but took last years matchup thanks to a Denaya Evans game winner in the 75th minute in a 1-0 win over Coyotes. 
 
  • Up Next: The Braves travel to Sterling on Wednesday, Sep. 21 at 2 p.m.
