Braves On the Road at Sterling

OTTAWA, Kan. -- The Ottawa University women's soccer team is back on the road following three straight games at home, traveling to Sterling to take on the Warriors today at 2 p.m.

The Braves are coming off a 2-1 loss to Kansas Wesleyan in this season's KCAC opener. Sidney Johnson scored the lone goal for Ottawa.

The Warriors had a tough matchup to open conference play, coming off a 16-0 loss to Oklahoma Wesleyan.

Denaya Evans leads Ottawa with two goals this season. Carolina Jennerwein, Jessenia Velez, Isabelle Conte, and Johnson have tallied one goal so far this season.

The Braves will have to keep the Warriors' leading goal scorer Emorie Sautter in check, having tallied four goals so far this season.

Ottawa has dominated the series history, with a 21-1 record against the Warriors. Ottawa's only loss came all the way back in 2006, and is currently on a 19-game winning streak.
