Braves Wrap up Two-Game Road Swing at Saint Mary

OTTAWA, Kan.-- The Ottawa University women's soccer team heads to Leavenworth on Saturday to close out a two-game road swing, taking on the Spires of Saint Mary at 1 p.m.
 
  • The Braves attempt to go 2-0 on this recent road stretch, coming off a 4-1 win on the road at Sterling on Wednesday. The win marked Ottawa's first win of the season, as well as coach Fabry's first win at OU. 
   
  • The Spires are led up front by Karleigh Enyart and Katy St. Martin, each scoring one goal so far this season. USM is coming off a 2-2 draw to McPherson in their last matchup.
 
  • Denaya Evans leads Ottawa with two goals this season. Following the last match against Sterling, 9 different players have scored at least one goal. 
 
  • Ottawa has dominated the series history, with a 13-3-1 record against Sain Mary. The Braves had won eight straight prior to last  year's 2-2 double overtime draw.
 
  • Up Next: The Braves travel to Leavenworth on Saturday for a matchup against the Saint Mary Spires.
