In their lone match last week, Ottawa defeated Southwestern College 3-0; 25-15, 25-10, 25-15; to open KCAC play. OU finished the match with 42 kills, a .293 attacking percentage, 34 assists, six service aces, 67 digs, and four team blocks. Radaisy Valdez led OU with 16 kills ad had a .500 attacking percentage. OU's setters both finished the match with a double-double. Haylee O'Meara had 18 assists and 10 digs. Kaitlyn Haller finished the match with 12 assists and 16 digs. Jadore Hayes led the Braves with 17 digs and Kennedi Wyrick had 12 digs.

Through 17 matches, the Braves are averaging 11.9 kills per set, 11.1 assists per set, 2.1 blocks per set, 1.4 service aces per set, and 18.2 digs per set. OU has a .180 attacking percentage.

The last time the Braves lost to Saint Mary was on Oct. 23, 2019 at the Ryan Sports Center in Leavenworth, 3-1; 25-21, 23-25, 20-25, 19-25. The first match between the two teams happened on Oct. 23, 1986 in Wilson Field House. OU won the match 2-0; 15-2, 15-1.

The University of Saint Mary is 10-8 overall and 1-0 in the KCAC. The Spires are on a two match winning streak after dropping four straight matches. Saint Mary opened KCAC play on Sept. 21 on the road in Hillsboro against Tabor College. The Spires took the match 3-2 with a reverse sweep, 17-25, 21-25, 25-23, 25-21, 15-12.

USM enters Tuesday's match coming off a 3-0 ; 25-17, 25-18, 25-11; road victory over College of the Ozarks last Friday. The Spires finished the match with 47 kills, a .312 attacking percentage, 44 assists, six service aces, 52 digs, and six team blocks. Rylee Kenitzer and Keagan Shockley led USM with 11 kills apiece. Hayden Heuermann led USM with 24 assists and Abby Hairell had 16 assists. Laney Ward led the Spires with 17 digs and Devyn Ford finished with six blocks.

Through 18 matches, USM is averaging 12.3 kills per set, 11.6 assists per set, 1.6 blocks per set, 1.3 service aces per set, and 17.8 digs per set. the Spires have a .198 attacking percentage.
