OTTAWA, Kan. -- The Ottawa University women's soccer team will play the second of three straight home games, hosting Park University at AdventHealth Field on Saturday, Sep. 10th at 1 p.m. 
 

• Despite the relative proximity, these teams have only played each other twice, with the last match coming all the way back in 2006. The Pirates hold a 2-0 series advantage over the Braves.

 

• In their last match, Ottawa hosted William Woods in the 2022 season opener at AdventHealth Field. The game ended in a 2-2 draw, with Denaya Evans scoring both goals for OU. 

 

• Park played two KCAC opponents so far this season, tying Avila 1-1 and defeating St. Mary's 6-1. The Pirates also played William Woods, coming away with a 1-0 win on the road. 

 

• Evans leads the Braves with two goals scored so far this season, followed by Jessenia Velez with one goal. Carolina Jennerwein, Reighna Werner, and Daisy Herrera have each tallied one assist. 

 

• The Braves will need to keep a close eye on Dragana Andonovski and Lenvix Ochieng, the two leading scorers for the Pirates. Goalkeeper Felicitas Mueller has only allowed two goals for the Pirates for a 0.67 goals against average, saving 10 shots along the way.
