Ottawa broke its three game losing streak with a 68-53 victory over Southwestern College on Saturday afternoon in Wilson Field House. OU shot 39.4 percent from the floor, 20.7 percent from behind the 3-pt line, and 62.5 percent from the free throw line. Cierra Brown and Nicole Brown led OU with 21 points apiece. Nicole Brown and Maria Moore led OU with seven rebounds apiece.

Nicole Brown leads Ottawa in scoring (14.2), rebounding (10.7), and blocks (2.1). Cierra Brown is OU's leader in assists (2.1) and steals (1.9) per game.

Ottawa is 3-6 on the road this season and 2-5 on the road in KCAC play. OU is scoring 61.1 points per game while opponents are scoring 64.2. The Braves are shooting 40.8 percent from the floor, 29.3 percent from behind the 3-pt line, and 67.9 percent from the free throw line. The Braves have lost six straight at The Ryan Sport Center. Ottawa's last win in McPherson was on Nov. 24, 2015. OU won the game 60-58.

McPherson College is 8-12 overall, 5-9 in the KCAC and 6-4 at home this season. The Bulldogs are 2-8 in its last 10 games and enters Monday's contest coming off a 82-67 loss to Oklahoma Wesleyan University in Bartlesville on Saturday afternoon.

In the loss to the Eagles, McPherson was outscored 19-9 in the third quarter and fell to OKWU 82-67. MC shot 49 percent from the floor, 57.1 (4-7) from behind the 3-pt line, and 59.1 percent (13-22) from the free throw line. The Bulldogs turned the ball over 20 times to OKWU's five turnovers. Dy'Mond Mcelrath led the Bulldogs with 22 points, Summer Kirkman scored 12, and Jayla Moore finished the game with 11 points.
