Ian Moore led the Braves with 13 points. Ty Bland led the Braves with eight rebounds. Deondre Buggage finished with five assists.

Deondre Buggage leads the Braves in scoring (16.1) and assists (2.2). Amil Fields is OU's leader in rebounding (7.5) and steals (1.5). Elijah Mason is Ottawa's leader in blocks (0.5) per game.

OU fell 94-91 in double overtime to Bethel in the first game this season on Dec. 1 in Wilson Field House. The first ever meeting between Ottawa and Bethel happened on Feb. 13, 1924 in North Newton. The Threshers won the game 42-21.

In Ottawa's double overtime loss to Bethel on Dec. 1, the Braves shot 38.3 percent from the floor, 25 percent from behind the 3-pt line, and 72 percent from the free throw line. OU led 16-15 in points off turnovers. Bethel had a 32-24 edge in points in the paint, a 20-6 advantage in second chance scoring, and led 18-16 in bench scoring. The Braves had three players in double figures led by Deondre Buggage's 30 points. Ian Moore finished the game with 24 points and Cody Fredrickson scored 11 points. Amil Fields led OU with 22 rebounds which ties him for second in the OU record book. Buggage led the Braves with five assists. Fields led OU with four steals.

Bethel College is 12-8 overall, 10-5 in the KCAC, and is 4-5 in Thresher Gymnasium this season. The Threshers are on a two game winning streak with victories over Avila University (79-76) on Jan. 23 and (2) Oklahoma Wesleyan (72-61) on Jan. 26.

In the win over Oklahoma Wesleyan, Bethel rallied from a half time deficit to take the 72-61 victory. The Threshers trailed 33-26 at the half to Oklahoma Wesleyan. Bethel held OKWU to 28 second half points. Bethel shot 44.4 percent from the floor, 37.5 percent from behind the arc, and 78.9 percent from the free throw line. Clifford Byrd II led Bethel with 17 points. Bryant Mocaby and Harper Jones finished with 13 points apiece.
