The Braves enter Wednesday's game coming off an 83-76 win over Bethel College in North Newton, Kan. on Saturday. Ottawa shot 44.4 percent from the floor, 38.9 percent from behind the 3-pt line, and 76.9 percent from the free throw line. Nicole Brown recorded her ninth double-double of the season. She finished the game with 26 points and 10 rebounds. Brown also had two blocked shots. Cierra Brown scored 20 points and had eight rebounds. Seven of her eight rebounds were on the offensive glass. Jordan Bianco finished the game with 14 points. She was 4-for-8 from behind the arc. Janiyah Hendricks led OU with three steals. Bethel connected on nine first half 3-pt field goals. The Threshers had two in the second half.

Nicole Brown earned her second KCAC Offensive Player of the Week honor for her efforts in three games last week for OU. She averaged 25.7 points and 13 rebounds helping the Braves to a mark of 2-1 last week. She shot 57.1 percent from the floor, 40 percent from behind the 3-pt line, and 73.1 percent from the free throw line.

In Wilson Field House this season, Ottawa is 8-2 overall, 5-2 in the KCAC and 3-0 in non-conference games. At home this season, OU is scoring 73.4 points while allowing opponent 57.1 points per game. Friends has won the last two meetings inside of Wilson Field House. Ottawa's last win against Friends and its last victory at home versus the Falcons was on Dec. 9, 2020. OU won the game 68-65.

The Braves are 1-9 in its last 10 games against the Falcons.

OU fell in the first meeting this season against Friends University on Dec. 3 at the Garvey Center, 61-49. Ottawa shot 29.7 percent from the floor, 27.6 percent from behind the 3-pt line, and 50 percent from the free throw line. Cierra Brown came off the bench lead the Braves in scoring with 15 points. She also had six assists. Nicole Brown led the Braves in rebounding with eight Hailey Henry finished the game with three steals.

Friends University is 13-9 overall, 9-7 in the KCAC, and 3-6 on the road this season. The Falcons snapped its four game losing streak on Saturday with a 66-53 victory over Oklahoma Wesleyan University in the Garvey Center.

The difference in the win over the Eagles on Saturday was the second and third quarters were Friends outscored OKWU 35-33. The Falcons shot 49 percent from the floor, 49.9 percent from behind the arc, and 62.5 percent from the free throw line. Six-time KCAC Defensive Player of the Week Taylor Jackson had a double-double, 25 points and 10 rebounds. Bridget Busbee scored 11 points.

This season, Friends is averaging 61.1 points, 38.5 rebounds, and 11 assists per game. The Falcons are shooting 39.7 percent from the floor, 30 percent from behind the 3-pt line, and 65.5 percent from the free throw line.
