Ottawa won its second straight match with a 3-0; 25-9, 25-16, 25-15; victory over Friends University on Wednesday night at the Garvey Center. OU finished the three set match with 47 kills, a .308 attacking percentage, 41 assists, one service ace, 60 digs, and 11 team blocks.

OU won the match last season in Wilson Field House 3-0; 25-21 25-21 25-20 on Nov. 2. The Braves won the last meeting at the Sport Center on Nov. 3, 2021, 3-1; 25-21, 22-25, 25-17, 25-18. The first meeting between the two teams took place on Oct. 5, 1982 in McPherson. The Bulldogs won the match 2-0; 15-12, 15-9.

McPherson College has an overall record of 15-7 and a KCAC mark of 5-4. The Bulldogs are 7-2 at home this season and enter Saturday's match coming off a 3-0 road win over York University on Oct. 18. The Bulldogs are 3-2 at The Sport Center in KCAC matches.
