Box Score Ottawa, Kan.- The Ottawa women's soccer team began a winning streak as they picked up a 2-1 road victory against Evangel. After a scoreless first half, Ashby Owen got the Braves on the board with a 59th minute goal assisted by Rebecca Lilley. Evangel tied the match up with an 83rd minute PK, but Alma Eriksson scored the game winner for Ottawa in the 88th minute.
Ottawa (6-5-6, 6-1-5 KCAC) takes the field on Saturday, October 28 as they travel to Sterling College to finish their regular season. That match is scheduled to kick off at 12 PM.
