Ottawa defeated Evangel on Wednesday night 3-0; 25-21, 25-20, 25-22; in Wilson Field House. OU finished the three set match with 44 kills, a .236 attacking percentage, 38 assists, six service aces, 61 digs, and six team blocks. It was the Braves' first win over Evangel since Sept. 10, 1988.

Through 27 matches this season, Ottawa is averaging 12.6 kills, 11.5 assists, 2.3 blocks, 1.03 service aces, and 16.1 digs per set. The Braves have a .209 attacking percentage.

Ryleigh Sander is the team's leader in assists with 606. She is averaging six assists pet set. Jadore Hayes leads the Braves in digs with 452, averaging 4.4 digs per set.

Radaisy Valdez leads the NAIA in attacking percentage (.439), she is 10th in kills (390), 12th in kills per set (4.02), 25th in solo blocks (25) 18th in blocks assists (88), ninth in total blocks (113), 19th in blocks per set (1.1), sixth in points (470), and eighth in points per set (4.8).

Saturday is the 94th meeting between Ottawa University and Bethel College. The Threshers lead the series, 57-36 but Ottawa is on an 18 match winning streak against Bethel. The Braves have won nine straight matches over Bethel in Wilson Field House. The last time Ottawa lost to Bethel was on Oct. 18, 2011 in Wilson Field House. The Threshers won the match 3-2; 22-25, 18-25, 25-22, 25-16, 12-15. The first meeting between the two teams happened on Nov. 6, 1976. Bethel won the match 2-0; 15-12, 15-10. OU lost the first 22 matches against Bethel College. Ottawa's first win over the Threshers was on Oct. 2, 1990. OU won the match 2-1; 8-15, 15-12, 15-7.

Ottawa's match against Sterling on Saturday is the 86th meeting between the two teams. Ottawa leads the series, 48-37, and is on a 20 match winning streak against the Warriors. Ottawa's last loss to Sterling was on Sept. 30, 2011 in Sterling. The Warriors won the match 3-0; 25-21, 25-16, 25-21. The Braves have won eight straight against the Warriors in Wilson Field House. The last time OU lost to Sterling, at home, was on Oct. 20, 2009. Sterling won the match 3-0; 25-18, 25-15, 25-22.  The first meeting between the two teams happened on Nov. 6, 1976. Ottawa won the match 2-1; 15-11, 4-15, 15-10.

Bethel College is 20-8 overall and tied for first place in the KCAC with a record of 9-1. The Threshers are on a two match winning streak with victories over Saint Mary (3-2) on Oct. 21 and Sterling (3-0) on Oct. 25.

Brooke Russell is the team's leader in digs with 310. She is averaging 3.07 digs per set. Darla Crow is BC's leader in blocks with 163. She is averaging 1.6 blocks per set.

Sterling College has an overall record of 14-9 and is in ninth in the KCAC with a record of 4-6. The Warriors are on a two match losing streak with losses to Evangel on Oct. 20 (3-0) and Bethel (3-0) on Oct. 25.
