ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The (RV)Ottawa University women's lacrosse team fell to the No. 4 Keiser Seahawks on 17-10 on Monday afternoon in a neutral site matchup hosted by Missouri Baptist. Despite the loss,

th career goal at OU.
It was the second top-5 matchup in a row for the Braves, opening their season with a loss against the reigning national champions and No. 1 Benedictine in the game prior.
The final score could have been much closer, with the Braves digging themselves in a hole right off the bat by allowing the Seahawks to open the game with the first seven goals.
Felicia Dixon got the Braves on the board late in the first quarter to break Ottawa's scoring drought.
The Braves made some adjustments heading into the second quarter, outscoring the Seahawks 4-2. The defense tightened up, while
Cecily Anderson scored three goals in the period to make the Seahawks lead 10-5 at halftime. Anderson's first goal of the day marked her 100
th career goal at OU.
Ottawa continued their offensive streak with four more goals in the third period, but Keiser was able to keep pace with a much more productive quarter than the second. With the Braves down six heading into the final quarter, Keiser milked many of their shot clocks in a low scoring period to hold on for the 17-10 win.
