Ottawa has won 26 straight games, dating back to 2022, with its 19-0 victory over Thomas University in the NAIA Women's Flag Finals Semifinal. Ottawa had four Braves named to the 2023 U.S. Women's Flag National Team. They are

Liz Sowers, was named the team's assistant coach. The team will compete at the 2023 International Federation of American Football (IFAF) Americas Continental Flag Football Championship from July 5-7 in Charlotte, N.C.
If Ottawa and Keiser meet in the championship game, it will be the fourth time that the two teams have met at the NAIA Women's Flag Football Finals and the second time that they have met in the championship game. If Ottawa and Thomas meet on Saturday, it will be the second consecutive season that the two teams have met in the championship game and the third time that they have met at the NAIA Women's Flag Football Finals.
