Ottawa, Kan.- The Ottawa men's soccer team got on a winning streak on Wednesday evening as they took down KCAC opponent Saint Mary 10-0 at AdventHealth Field.
Bence Molnar got the Braves on the board, converting a penalty kick in the tenth minute. Goals by
Cale Scott and Molnar once more saw Ottawa leading 3-0 at halftime. The Braves scored 7 goals in the second half to seal the victory.
This was a historic win for Ottawa, the last time they scored 10 goals was in October of 2003.
Overall,
Bence Molnar lead the Braves in scoring with three goals.
Vladan Pavlovic had two of his own, and
Cale Scott,
Filippo Della Pasqua,
Jevan Purcell-Jackson,
Slobodan Novicevic, and Justin Hoffman each found the back of the net.
Marko de Sa Faira got his second clean sheet of the season in goal.
Ottawa takes the field again on Saturday, September 16 at 7:30 PM, where they will host York University at AdventHealth Field.
