Men's Soccer Opens KCAC Play at Home Against Saint Mary

The Ottawa men's soccer team hosts Saint Mary to begin conference play for 2023. The Braves are 1-2-1 on the season, and got their first win last game, a 4-0 away win over Baker. Ottawa has six goalscorers on the season, with Cale Scott, Zach Hammar, Bence Molnar, Slobodan Novicevic, Santiago Rebolledo, and Filippo della Pasqua finding the back of the net one time each this season. Saint Mary is 1-2-2 heading into this contest, with losses against Benedictine and Park, draws against Doane and Morningside, and a 3-1 win over Kansas Christian in their most recent match. Guilherme Caldas is the goals leader for the Spires with two on the season. Hamdan Altuma, Romario Harding, Nicco Lopez, Anthony Rangel, and Oscar Sandoval each have one goal for Saint Mary. These two teams met twice last season- Ottawa won the regular season matchup 6-3, but the Spires got their revenge, picking up a 5-3 win in the KCAC semifinals. Since 2010, Ottawa leads the series 11-4.
