The Ottawa men's soccer team is looking to add to their two game winning streak as they host York in their second KCAC match of 2023. After a 4-0 win over Baker in their final non-conference match, the Braves beat Saint Mary 10-0 in their KCAC opener.
Bence Molnar had three goals and an assist,
Vladan Pavlovic scored two goals, and
Jevan Purcell-Jackson;
Cale Scott; Justin Hoffman;
Filippo Della Pasqua; and
Slobodan Novicevic each scored one. Novicevic and Scott each had one assist, and
Owain Parker and
Zach Hammar joined them with an assist apiece.
Alonso Basauri led the Braves in assists with two, and
Marko de Sa Faira recorded his second clean sheet of the season. The Braves' leading scorers are
Bence Molnar with four goals and
Cale Scott,
Slobodan Novicevic,
Filippo Della Pasqua,
Vladan Pavlovic have two goals each. Four more players have one goal, totalling nine Ottawa players that have found the back of the net. York is 0-5-1 on the season, and after opening with a 1-1 draw at Doane, the Panthers have lost five straight, including a 1-0 defeat against Kansas Wesleyan in their last match. Alexandre Motta and Matias Trettel are the leading scorers for York with one goal apiece.
