Ottawa, Kan.- The Ottawa men's soccer team heads to Bartlesville as they take on tenth-ranked Oklahoma Wesleyan in a conference match. Ottawa took care of business in their last match, a 2-0 win over York. Bence Molnar scored in the third minute, and Jevan Purcell-Jackson added to the lead with a 65th minute goal. Slobodan Novicevic recorded both assists. Nicolo Cinelli recorded his first clean sheet of the season. Bence Molnar is the leading goalscorer for the Braves with five goals. Slobodan Novicevic, Cale Scott, Filippo Della Pasqua, Vladan Pavlovic, and Jevan Purcell-Jackson have two goals each. Slobodan Novicevic and Alonso Basauri are the joint assist leaders with three apiece. Oklahoma Wesleyan is 3-1-2 overall and 2-0-0 in conference play. The Eagles' lone loss was a 2-0 result to #5 Grace in their opening match. Oklahoma Wesleyan's other ranked match was a 2-2 draw against #7 (then #1) Bethel (Ind.). In conference play, the Eagles have 3-0 and 7-1 wins over Southwestern and Bethel. Stefan Cvetanovic is the Eagles' leading scorer with ten goals. Pol Mur, Zlatan Ramic, Uros Rosic, and Matheus Ulrich have two goals each.
