Ottawa, Kan.- The Ottawa women's soccer team got their first win of the season as they defeated Kansas Wesleyan 1-0 on Saturday afternoon at AdventHealth Field. The only goal of the game was a 9th minute goal from
Erin Wetterstrom that came just outside the box.
Olivia Ekwall got her first clean sheet of the season in goal. Kansas Wesleyan outshot the Braves 8-7, and 3-1 in shots on goal.
The Braves return to action on Wednesday, September 27 as they host Southwestern College at AdventHealth Field. That match is scheduled to kick off at 5 PM.
