YORK, Neb. – The #15 Ottawa University women's wrestling team won the KCAC Duals on Saturday in York, Nebraska. Ottawa defeated four teams to secure the dual championship, Ottawa beat Midland, York, Saint Mary and Hastings in the championship
Ottawa vs. Midland – W, 38-10
Addison Saporito secured a fall victory over Serenity Durham-Goree in the 116lb weight class.
Emma Truex took down Taylor Hood on a fall in the 123lb.
Peyton Hand secured a fall win against Emily Paulino in the 130lb weight division. In the 136lb weight class,
Madelynn Griffin won her match by fall in 21 seconds over Samantha Segura-Veliz.
Randie Scoon took little time as well by winning by fall in 38 seconds against Eny Bravo Torcios.
Kaydence Bonewell won a 3-0 decision in the 155lb weight division over Andrea Frisque.
Akaiya Tinsley won by forfeit in the 170lb weight class and
Jolie Ziegler defeated Jasmin Ballesteros in the 191lb weight division.
Ottawa vs. York – W, 41-5
Patience Okemba secured the first win of the second match on a fall over Graciela Reyes in the 101lb.
Aynsley Fink return to the mat and won her match quickly over Ella Whitaker on a fall in the 109lb weight class.
Addison Saporito got her second win of the day on a technical fall victory over Allison C Doppenberg in the 116lb weight division.
Emma Truex picked up a second fall win of the day, this time against Celeste Tellez in the 123lb weight class.
Madelynn Griffin and
Aileen Lester both won their matches by technical falls. LIvia Swift took down Lauren Tucker on a fall in the 143lb weight division.
Kaydence Bonewell defeated Amelia Coykendall on a technical fall in the 155lb.
Jolie Ziegler won her match in 24 seconds on a fall in the 191lb weight division over Amelia Coykendall.
Ottawa vs. Saint Mary – W, 40-8

Peyton Hand all won their matches by forfeits to give Ottawa a big lead.
Aileen Lester won by fall in the 136lb weight division against Allison King.
Randie Scoon earned a technical fall win over Ariana Mercado in the 143lb.
Kaydence Bonewell downed Rebekah Koolstra in the 155lb weight class by a fall.
Akaiya Tinsley won by fall over Amelia Frounfelter in the 170lb weight division.
Ottawa vs. Hastings – W, 32-16
Anysley Fink got Ottawa on the board first on a fall victory over Izzy Evans in the 109lb weight division.
Emma Truex won by forfeit in the 123lb weight class.
Peyton Hand and
Aileen Lester both won by falls in their respective weight classes.
Akaiya Tinsley secured the win in the 170lb weight division on a fall over Victoria Guinard.
Jolie Ziegler won the last match of the day on a fall in the 191lb weight class over Taylor Rickley. Ottawa defeated Hastings and won the KCAC Conference Duals.
