(RV) Women's Volleyball is on the Road at Bellevue and Hosts Tabor This Weekend

Ottawa won its second straight match with a three set sweep of Bethany College last Saturday evening in Lindsborg, Kan. OU finished the match with 36 kills, a .149 attacking percentage, 35 assists, seven service aces, 59 digs, and five team blocks.

Through 16 matches this season, Ottawa is averaging 12.4 kills per set, 11.7 assists per set, 2.08 blocks per set, 1.08 service aces per set, and 18.7 digs per set. OU has a .188 attacking percentage.

The Braves are ranked 11th in the NAIA in digs per set (18.51), 19th in solo blocks (54), 36th in total blocks (155), 17th in blocks per set (2.3), and 25th in blocking errors (33).

Radaisy Valdez leads OU in kills per set (3.1), Madison Brauner is OU's leader in assists per set (6.1), Kenzie Kuxhaus is the Braves' leader in digs per set (6.04), and Valdez and Campbell Stark are the team's leaders in blocks per set (1.00).

Friday's match against no. 7 Bellevue University is the 11th meeting between the two teams. The Bruins lead the series, 8-2, and are on a three match winning streak against the Braves. The last time OU defeated Bellevue was on Sept. 11, 2015, 3-2 (20-25, 25-22, 25-16, 25-27, 15-10). Ottawa is 0-4 against the Bruins on the road.

Friday will be the second time that Ottawa and Carroll have played against each other. Ottawa won the first ever meeting between the two teams on Sept. 2, 2022. The Braves defeated the, then no. 18, Saints 3-1 (25-20, 21-25, 25-22, 25-16).

Ottawa and Tabor College will meet for the 97th time on Saturday afternoon in Wilson Field House. OU leads the series, 50-46, and have won two straight matches against the Bluejays. The last time OU fell to Tabor was on Oct. 16, 2021 in Hillsboro. The Bluejays won the match 3-2 (25-19, 21-25, 23-25, 25-22, 13-15). The Braves have won 10 straight matches in Wilson Field House against Tabor College. Ottawa's last loss to the Tabor at home was on Oct. 23, 2013. TC won the match 3-2 (20-25, 25-15, 20-25, 25-22, 12-15). The first time the two teams played against each other was on Nov. 5, 1977. OU won the contest 2-0 (15-10, 15-3).

Bellevue University is 18-3 overall, ranked no. 7 in the latest NAIA Top 25, and are on four match winning streak. Through 21 matches this season, the Bruins are averaging 13.6 kills per set, 12.7 assists per set, 2.08 blocks per set, 1.5 service aces per set, and 16.8 digs per set. BU has a .241 attacking percentage.

The Bruins are ranked 21st in the NAIA in kills (1047), 12th in kills per set (13.6), 40th in total attacks (2808), 14th in attacking percentage (.241), 19th in assists (982), 10th in assists per set (12.7), 39th in digs (1,299), 27th in solo blocks (47), 40th in block assists (226), 27th in block totals (160), 37th in blocks per set (2.08), 25th in blocking errors (33), 24th in points (1323.0), and 14th in points per set (17.2).

Eve Fountain leads the Bruins in kills per set (3.4), Mila Aiwohi is the team's leader in assists per set (6.4), Taylan Keefer is BU's leader in digs per set (4.2), and Savanna Berger leads Bellevue in blocks per set (1.04).

Carroll College is 12-6 overall, has lost three straight matches, and is receiving votes in the NAIA Top 25 Poll. Through 18 matches, the Saints are averaging 12.3 kills per set, 11.8 assists per set, 1.8 blocks per set, 1.4 service aces per set, and 22.2 digs per set. They have a .163 attacking percentage.

The Saints are ranked 47th in the NAIA in assists per set (11.8), 13th in digs (1,445), and first in digs per set (22.2).

Elizabeth Heuiser leads Carroll in kills per set (2.4), Hannah Schweikert is CC's leader in assists per set (9.4), Julia Carr is the team's leader in digs per set (7.02), and Heuiser leads the Saints in blocks per set (1.00).

Tabor College is 3-13 overall and 1-2 in the KCAC. The Bluejays enter Saturday's match coming off a 3-0 victory over Sterling College on Oct. 9 in Hillsboro.

Through 16 matches, the Bluejays are averaging 9.6 kills per set, 9.2 assists per set, 1.2 blocks per set, 1.5 service aces per set, and 13.8 digs per set. They have a .116 attacking percentage.

Tabor is ranked 54th in the NAIA in solo blocks (39) and first in ball handling errors (53).
