Box Score Hillsboro, KAN. - The Ottawa men's soccer team kept their winning streak going as they beat Tabor by a score of 5-0 on Saturday afternoon.
Alonso Basauri started the scoring for Ottawa with a 22nd minute goal, and they carried that 1-0 lead into halftime.
Rory Stenhouse scored his first goal of the season in the 52nd, and
Jevan Purcell-Jackson added in the 67th minute. Dion Klaasen scored his first goal of the season in the 69th minute, and
Bence Molnar closed the scoring with with an 88th minute goal.
Ottawa outshot Tabor 17 to three, and lead in shots on goal ten to one.
Nicolo Cinelli made one save en route to a clean sheet for the Braves.
Ottawa (4-7-1, 3-3-1 KCAC) returns to the field on Wednesday, October 16 as they host Avila University at AdventHealth Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 PM.
