Box Score Hillsboro, KAN. - The Ottawa women's soccer team extended their unbeaten streak as they played Tabor to a 1-1 tie on Saturday afternoon.
Tabor scored in the second minute of the game off a set piece goal by Beatriz Rodrigues, assisted by the free kick taker Raegan King.
Maria Savvides leveled the score at 1-1 with her first goal of the season in the 29th minute, and the game remained that score for the rest of the way.
Ottawa outshot Tabor eleven to nine, and lead in shots on goal eight to five. The Bluejays committed ten fouls to Ottawa's seven, and lead in corner kicks, three to one.
Alondra Carbajal-Pettry made four saves in goal for the Braves.
Ottawa (1-7-3, 1-3-3 KCAC) returns to the field on Wednesday, October 16 as they host Avila University at AdventHealth Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:00 PM.
