(RV) Women's Volleyball Road Trips to Bethel on Saturday

The Braves are on a two match winning streak, defeating Avila University 3-0 on Tuesday night in Kansas City, Mo. Ottawa finished the match with 34 kills, a .214 attacking percentage, 32 assists, three service aces, 63 digs and 10 team blocks.

Through 21 matches, Ottawa is averaging 12.5 kills per set, 11.8 assists per set, 2.1 blocks per set, 1.01 service aces per set, and 18.5 digs per set. OU has a .197 attacking percentage.

Radaisy Valdez leads the Braves in kills per set (3.1), Madison Brauner is OU's leader in assists per set (6.1), Kenzie Kuxhaus is Ottawa's leader in digs per set (6.2), and Campbell Stark leads the team in blocks per set (1).

Saturday's match between Ottawa University and Bethel College is the 95th meeting between the two teams. Bethel leads the series, 58-36. BC snapped OU's 18 match winning streak against the Threshers on Oct. 28, 2023 in Wilson Field House, 3-2 (25-22, 23-25, 25-19, 20-25, 13-15) last season. The first match between the two teams happened on Nov. 6, 1976. Bethel defeated Ottawa 2-0 (15-12, 15-10). The Braves have won 10 straight matches in North Newton, Kan. against the Threshers. The last time Ottawa fell to Bethel on the road was Sept. 30, 2010, 3-2 (23-25, 25-17, 25-19, 19-25, 7-15).

The Braves are ranked 39th in the NAIA in total attacks (3,136), 47th in assists (966), 49th in receptions (1,622), 28th in digs (1,508), 19th in digs per set (18.39), 16th in solo blocks (63), 38th in block assists (254), 17th in total blocks (190), 15th in blocks per set (2.3), and 15th in blocking errors (46).

Bethel College is 17-7 overall and 5-2 in the KCAC. The Threshers are 6-0 in Thresher Gymnasium and enter Saturday's match coming off a 3-0 win over Tabor on Wednesday. Prior to that match, The Threshers had lost two straight matches to McPherson (3-1) and Evangel (3-1).

Through 24 matches, Bethel is averaging 12.3 kills per set, 11.5 assists per set, 2.3 blocks per set, 1.9 service aces per set, and 16.9 digs per set. The Threshers have a .206 attacking percentage.

Cameron Offerle and Laci Ownbey leads Bethel in blocks per set (3.2). Mia Roman is the Threshers' leader in assists per set (10.1), Abby Koontz leads the team in digs per set (4.4), and Darla Crow is BC's leader in blocks per set (1.2).
