Ottawa, KAN. - The Ottawa bowling teams open up their seasons this weekend in Wichita at the Mid-States Championships.
- The Braves return thirteen bowlers and add five newcomers on the men's side. The women's team features ten returners and six newcomers, which includes three transfers.

Holly Bridges,
Kiara Backstrom,
Allie Williams, and
Jadyn Barr. Bridge was also the KCAC's Women's Bowler of the Year last season.
- Ottawa has bowled at Mid-States every season in program history. The men had their best finish in 2022, finishing eighth. The women's best finish came last season, where they qualified sixth and finished third in the bracket.
- In last year's tournament, the men finished in tenth place.
- Last season, the women qualified for the bracket as the six seed with a 8,914 total. The Braves upset the third-seeded Wichita State, 3-2 in the quarterfinals before falling to eventual tournament winners Newman in the semifinals.
Jadyn Barr made the All-Tournament team in fourth place.
