Wednesday is the 95th meeting between Ottawa University and Friends University. Friends leads the series, 52-42, but the Braves are on a seven match winning streak against the Falcons. Ottawa has not dropped a set to Friends in five straight matches and have won 10 straight matches in Wilson Field House against Friends. The last time OU lost at home to the Falcons was on Oct. 7, 2011. Friends won the match 3-2 (23-25, 25-19, 25-23, 18-25, 9-15). The first ever meeting between the two teams happened on Sept. 21, 1977 in Wilson Field House. Ottawa won the match 2-1 (12-15, 15-5, 15-10).
Kenzie Kuxhaus is ranked fifth in the NAIA in digs with 543 and is ranked sixth in the digs per set with 6.24.
Friends University is 12-12 overall and has a record of 2-6 in the KCAC. The Falcons had their two match winning streak snapped with a 3-2 road loss to York University on Oct. 19.
