The Braves are coming off a 5-1 road win over McPherson last Saturday. In that game,
Makayla Remanente-Bailey and
Liv Staberg scored twice each, and
Riley Smith scored once.
Makayla Remanente-Bailey is Ottawa's leading goalscorer with three, and is the joint-assists leader with
Ashby Owen and
Kyndel Adams with one each.
Evangel comes into this matchup with a 7-6-2 overall record and a 6-4-1 conference record.
The Valor are coming off a 2-0 win over Sterling last Saturday.
McKenzie Calhoun leads Evangel in goals with five, and Grayson Murphy leads in assists with four.
This is just the second meeting between the two teams, with the first coming last season.
That match was a 2-1 victory in Springfield for the Braves. After a late Evangel equalizer, Alma Eriksson scored the game winning goal in the 88th minute.
