Box Score WINFIELD, Kan. – The (RV) Ottawa University men's basketball team was defeated 76-58 by Southwestern College on Wednesday night in Stewart Field House.
Southwestern opened the first half on a 11-2 run. Baskets by
Keith Robinson and
Najee Jones cut the deficit to 11-6 with 15:23 on the clock.
The Moundbuilders increased their lead to double figures and with 8:58 remaining in the half, had a 24-12 lead. The Braves were not able to get the lead under 10 points and Southwestern took a 35-21 lead into the locker room.
SWC increased its lead to 21 points in the first five minutes of the second half, 49-28. Ottawa was not able to rally and the Moundbuilders took the 76-58 victory.
