Deondre Buggage scored 27 points on 9-for-14 shooting from the floor. He had eight assists.
Jayden Hibbitt leads the Braves in scoring, averaging 20.3 points per game. He is shooting 50.6 percent from the floor.

The last time the teams played an overtime contest was on Jan. 23, 2023 in McPherson. The Bulldogs won the game 106-98. The first meeting between the two teams happened in 1910. Ottawa won the game 40-25. McPherson won the first game this season, 93-81, in McPherson on Dec. 9.

The Bulldogs broke their two game losing streak with a 77-76 victory over Bethany College last Saturday at The Ryan Sport Center. Prior to that win, McPherson had lost 75-65 to Kansas Wesleyan on Feb. 3 and 97-88 to Evangel University on Feb. 7.
