OTTAWA, Kan. – The Ottawa University women's basketball team ended the regular season with an 81-57 loss to the University of Saint Mary Spires on Saturday afternoon in Wilson Field House.
The Spires opened the game on a 25-7 run and took a 27-10 lead into the second quarter. The Braves tried to chip away at the USM lead. Two free throws from
Katelyn Alatini put OU within 34-21 with 5:19 left in the first half. Saint Mary was able to outscore the Braves 10-7 to end the half and took 44-28 lead into the locker room.
The Spires continued to build up its lead in the second half. Ottawa was not able to recover, and Saint Mary took the 81-57 victory.
