Ottawa, KAN. - The Ottawa men's soccer team looks to pick up their first win of the season as they travel to (1) MidAmerica Nazarene.

• The Braves are coming off a 1-3 loss at the hands of (16) William Penn on Saturday morning. Alonso Basauri scored the lone goal for Ottawa, with Cale Scott making the assist on that goal.
• MidAmerica Nazarene is 0-0-2 on the season, with ties against John Brown and (RV) LSU-Shreveport. The Pioneers are the defending NAIA National Champions, and hold the top spot in the NAIA Preseason Coaches' Poll.
• The Pioneers' standout player is Rick Hovinga, who led MNU in points in 2023 with 34, and scored MNU's lone goal in their 2024 campaign.
• Ottawa and MNU have met five times in both programs' history, with MNU taking all five contests.
• The last time the two teams met was in 2022, a 6-2 home victory for the Pioneers. This is Ottawa Head Coach James Cottage's only match against MNU.
