The Braves finished the GoSarpy.com Classic with a record of 1-2. Ottawa fell 3-1 to Dickinson State University in its first match of the season and 3-0 to (RV) Morningside University last Friday in Bellevue, Neb. OU rebounded to take a 3-0 victory over Dordt University last Saturday.

Thursday's match against Our Lady of the Lake University is the first meeting between the two teams. Ottawa's match against Rocky Mountain College is the third meeting between OU and RMC. The Battlin' Bears lead the series, 2-0. The last time the two teams met was on Aug. 31, 2019 at the GoSarpy.com Classic in Bellevue, Neb. Rocky Mountain won the match 3-0 (25-13, 25-17, 25-19). Saturday's match between Ottawa and John Brown University is the 11th match between the two teams. JBU leads the series, 6-4.
