(21) Men's Soccer in Wichita For KCAC Tournament Championship Against (1) Oklahoma Wesleyan

OTTAWA, Kan. - The Ottawa men's soccer looks looks for their first KCAC Tournament Championship in over twenty years as they take on (1) Oklahoma Wesleyan in Wichita.
  • Ottawa is 13-1-6 on the season and 10-0-3 in KCAC play.
  • The Braves are coming off a 3-0 win over Kansas Wesleyan in the semifinals on Friday in Wichita.
  • In that game, Jevan-Purcell Jackson scored first in the 24th minute to give Ottawa a 1-0 lead going into halftime. Alonso Basauri doubled that lead in the 78th minute off an assist by Sam Hatswell, and Purcell-Jackson brought the game home with an 87th minute goal via an assist from Basauri. David Martinez made six saves in goal for Ottawa.
  • Antonio Natalucci leads Ottawa in goals with fourteen, while Alonso Basauri leads the Braves in assists with seventeen.
