Box Score WICHITA, Kan. - The Ottawa men's soccer team saw their unbeaten streak snapped as they fell 0-5 to (1) Oklahoma Wesleyan University in the KCAC Tournament championship game on Wednesday afternoon in Wichita.
Oklahoma Wesleyan scored for the first time in the seventh minute, and then again in the 22nd minute. The Eagles doubled their lead in the 35th and 43rd minutes to give them a 4-0 halftime lead. Oklahoma Wesleyan scored the only goal in the second half in the 52nd minute.
Oklahoma Wesleyan led total shots twelve to six and shots on goal eight to two.
David Martinez made three saves in goal for Ottawa.
Ottawa (13-2-6, 10-0-3 KCAC) returns to the field in the NAIA National Tournament Opening Round. Opponent, time, and location are to be determined and will be revealed during the NAIA Selection Show that will air on Friday, November 14 at 6:00 PM.
