(21) Men's Soccer at Home Against McPherson to Open KCAC Tournament

OTTAWA, Kan. - The Ottawa men's soccer travels opens their postseason at home as they host seventh seeded McPherson in the KCAC Tournament Quarterfinals.

Ottawa is 11-1-6 on the season and 10-0-3 in KCAC play.
The Braves are coming off a 4-0 win at Sterling on Saturday.
In that game, Simon Kindt scored two goals, Jevan Purcell-Jackson and Daniel Raja scored one each. Purcell-Jackson made two assists, Felipe Padierna and Arminas Gecas made one each. David Martinez made five saves en route to his seventh clean sheet of 2025.
Antonio Natalucci leads Ottawa in goals with thirteen, while Alonso Basauri leads the Braves in assists with 15.
McPherson comes into this contest with a 7-8-3 overall record and a 5-5-3 KCAC record.
The Bulldogs are coming off a 3-1 win over Friends on Saturday at home.
Nathan van Wyck is McPherson's leading goalscorer with 15 goals, van Wyck and Zane Sullivan are the Bulldogs' joint-assists leaders with four each.
Ottawa and McPherson have met 42 times, McPherson leads the series 25-17-0.
The regular season matchup between the two squads was a 7-0 victory for Ottawa in McPherson.
In that game, Matias Mazieres scored a hat trick, Simon Kindt scored a brace, and Matt Myers and Drago Kecman scored a goal each. Mazieres, Felipe Padierna, Daniel Raja, and Thomas Bloomfield each made one assist. David Martinez made two saves in a combined clean sheet with Nicolo Cinelli.

Last season's tournament saw Ottawa beat Friends at home 4-1, Kansas Wesleyan 2-0 in Wichita before falling 0-1 to (2) Oklahoma Wesleyan in the championship game.
Win or lose, this will be Ottawa's only KCAC Tournament game at home this season as the tournament moves to the Stryker Sports Complex in Wichita for the semifinal and championship matches.
