The Braves are 10-12 overall and in sixth place in the KCAC with a mark of 7-5. Ottawa enters Saturday's match at Bethel coming off a 3-0 victory over the University of Saint Mary on Wednesday evening in Wilson Field House.

The last time Ottawa defeated Bethel was in North Newton on Oct. 11, 2022, 3-0. The first match ever between the two teams happened on Nov. 6, 1976. Bethel won the match 2-0 (15-12, 15-10).
