Men's Basketball and Southwestern Meet in WFH on Wednesday

The Braves have an overall record of 5-3 and a 2-1 mark in the KCAC. Ottawa enters Wednesday game coming off a 115-30 loss to NCAA Division II and second ranked Washburn University in an exhibition contest last Saturday. 

Through eight games this season Ottawa is averaging 83.3 points, 37 rebounds, and 11.8 assists per game. OU is shooting 46.6 percent from the floor, 40.3 percent from behind the 3-pt line, and 75.9 percent from the free throw line. 

Rich Martelly leads the Braves in scoring (16.3) and steals (1.6). Kuol Reech and Jackson Harding lead Ottawa in rebounding (6.9). Landyn Tyler is OU's leader in assists (2.9) and Reech is the team's leader in blocks (0.8).

Southwestern College is 5-2 overall and 1-2 in the KCAC. The Moundbuilders are 1-0 on the road this season. SWC snapped its two game losing streak on Nov. 22 with a 68-64 road victory over no. 11 University of Saint Mary at the Ryan Sport Center. 

Through seven games this season, Southwestern is averaging 83.3 points, 38 rebounds, and 16.1 assists per game. SWC is shooting 52.6 percent from the floor, 39.8 percent from behind the 3-pt line, and 76.5 percent from the free throw line. 

Wyatt Bell leads Southwestern in scoring (22.3) and assists (3.7), Zach Hildago is SWC's leader in rebounding (7.9) and blocks (0.6). Evan Barber is the team's leader in steals (0.7) per game.
