Women's Basketball and Sterling Meet in WFH on Saturday

The Braves have an overall record of 7-3 and are 3-3 in the KCAC. Ottawa has lost two straight, falling to Evangel University on Wednesday night, 102-73, in Wilson Field House. 

Through 10 games, Ottawa is averaging 80.5 points, 43 rebounds, and 15.9 assists per game. OU is shooting 41.6 percent from the floor, 30.9 percent from behind the 3-pt line, and 71.5 percent from the free throw line. 

McKinley Kruger leads the Braves in scoring (11.9), assists (2.5), and steals (1.5). Ashlynn Arnsman and Aaliyah Brown lead the team in rebounding (6.8) and Ashlynn Arnsman is OU's leader in blocks (0.8) per game.

Sterling College has an overall record of 9-2 and a KCAC mark of 6-0. The Warriors are on an eight winning streak and have a record of 3-0 on the road this season. Sterling enters Saturday's game coming off a 79-70 win over Bethel College in North Newton on Wednesday. 

Through 11 games, Sterling is averaging 74 points, 37.4 rebounds, and 12.4 assists per game. SC is shooting 41.5 percent from the floor, 29.7 percent from behind the 3-pt line, and 73 percent from the free throw line. 

Kali Briar leads Sterling in scoring (19.4), Bailey Young is SC's leader in rebounding (9.7) and Karlee Jacobs leads the Warriors in assists (3.3) and steals (4). McKenna Vogl is the team's leader in blocks (3.2).

Sterling is ranked 37th in the NAIA in points (814), 12th in free throws made per game (16.5), 32nd in free throws attempted per game (22.5), 43rd in free throw percentage (.730), 40th in steals per game (12.2), and fifth in blocks per game (5.3). 

On the road this season, Sterling is scoring 68.7 points per game and shooting 44.8 percent from the floor, 34.2 percent from behind the 3-pt line, and 66.2 percent from the free throw line.
