LIBERTY, Mo. - The Ottawa University men's basketball team was defeated in an exhibition game against William Jewell College, falling 105–44 on Tuesday night at the Mabee Center.
First Half
William Jewell set the tone early, using its pace and perimeter shooting to jump out to a quick lead. Ottawa battled through the opening minutes, generating looks in transition and on second-chance opportunities, but the hosts were able to extend the margin as the half progressed.
Second Half
Ottawa continued to compete after the break, looking to establish rhythm offensively and gain experience against a high-level opponent. The Braves worked the ball inside and pushed tempo when opportunities presented themselves, but WJC maintained control throughout the half, taking the 105-44 victory.

Ottawa returns to the court on Wednesday, Dec. 17 in Wilson Field House in a non-conference game against Culver-Stockton College. Game time is set for 6:00 p.m.
