Ottawa, KAN. - The Ottawa women's lacrosse team found themselves on the wrong end of the final score as they were defeated by Webber International by a score of 13-12 on Saturday afternoon.
The game started low scoring, with Webber scoring the first two and Ottawa responding, the score 2-1 in favoer of the visitors after the first quarter. The shots started to go in the goal for either team in the second period, the halftime score being 6-6. Webber dominated the third quarter, scoring five goals to Ottawa's one. The Braves returned the favor in the fourth, scoring four goals to start the quarter, tying the game at 11. The Warriors had the final say, scoring two of the the final three goals for a 13-12 victory.

Curstin Brown scored two goals each.
Makayla Mason,
Ashlyn Lopez, and
Isabella Pagliei scored one apiece. Lopez made two assists, Barnett, Senne, and Valadao made one each.
Shelby Bearden and
Eliza White made seven saves each in goal.
Ottawa (0-2, 0-0 HAAC) returns to the field on Sunday, March 2 at AdventHealth Field against (10) Ave Maria University. That game is scheduled to start at 1:00 PM.
