Men's Volleyball Hosts Central Christian on Tuesday

Ottawa is 11-10 overall, 6-8 in the Heart, and has a record of 4-4 in the Mabee Center this season. OU's 11 victories this season are the most since 2022 when Ottawa finished the season with 15 wins.

The Braves broke their three match losing streak last Saturday with a 3-0 (25-10, 25-20, 25-21) victory over Graceland University in the Mabee Center. Ottawa finished the match with 45 kills, a .390 attacking percentage, 43 assists, three service aces, 27 digs, and one team block. Marko Zolnjan led the Braves with 16 kills. He had a .481 attacking percentage. Macort Pickup had 12 kills and a .450 attacking percentage. He had five digs. Marton Zarka had 22 assists and Quentin Le Dortz had 16 assists.

This season the Braves are averaging 12.1 kills per set, 11.4 assists per set, 2.03 blocks per set, 0.8 service aces per set, and 10.08 digs per set. OU has a .256 attacking percentage.

Marko Zolnjan leads OU in kills per set (2.9), Marton Zarka is OU's leader in assists per set (9.6), Nazmi Bayoglu leads the team in digs per set (2.8), and Akeil Williams is Ottawa's leader in blocks per set (1.1).

In eight matches this season in the Mabee Center, Ottawa is averaging 13.1 kills per set, 12.2 assists per set, 10.3 digs per set, and 1.8 blocks per set. Marko Zolnjan leads the team in kills per set (3.2).

Tuesday's match is the ninth meeting between Ottawa University and Central Christian College. Ottawa leads the series, 8-0. OU won the first match this season, a 3-0 victory on Jan. 31 at the Park Invitational. The Braves have not dropped a set to the Tigers. OU is 4-0 against Central Christian in Wilson Field House. Tuesday will be the firs time the two teams have played in the Mabee Center.

Central Christian College is 0-12 this season and has lost 45 straight matches dating back to the 2023 season. The Tigers last win was on March 8, 2025 in McPherson against Simpson College.

This season the Tigers are averaging 4.4 kills per set, 4.1 assists per set, 1.1 blocks per set, 0.6 service aces per set, and 5.5 digs per set. They have a .101 attacking percentage.

Austin McLeroy leads Central Christian in kills per set (1.6), Joshua Condon leads the team in assists per set (3.03), Alex Siguencia is the Tigers' leader in digs per set (1.6), and McLeroy leads the Tigers in blocks per set (0.5).

The Tigers are ranked 13th in the NAIA in reception errors (12), 53rd in solo blocks (22), and third in ball handling errors (10).
