Fulton, MO. - The Ottawa men's lacrosse team suffered another loss as they were defeated by William Woods by a score of 26-2 on Wednesday evening.
William Woods had a hot start, outscoring Ottawa 6-0 and 7-0 in the first two quarters. The Owls scored nine goals in the third quarter, but Ottawa got on the board with a goal of their own as well. William Woods used a 4-1 fourth quarter to solidify their victory.
Braydon Francis and
Peyton Mallory scored one goal each, the latter scoring his first collegiate goal.
Dylan Murano made seven saves in goal.
Ottawa (0-5, 0-3 HAAC) returns to the field on Saturday, March 29 as they host St. Ambrose University at AdventHealth Field. That game is scheduled to start at 1:00 PM.
