Columbia, MO. - The Ottawa men's lacrosse team tasted defeated as they fell to Columbia by a score of 23-3 on Wednesday afternoon.
It took a few minutes for the goals to start coming, but Columbia didn't hold back when they did, leading 8-0 after the first quarter and 15-1 at halftime. The Cougars extended their lead in the second half with 5-1 and 3-1 third and fourth quarters.
Braydon Francis led Ottawa with two goals,
Mark Spells scored one.
Dylan Murano made eight saves in goal.
Ottawa (0-9, 0-7 HAAC) returns to the field on Saturday, April 12 as they travel to St. Louis, Missouri for a game at Missouri Baptist University. That game is set to begin at 5:00 PM.
