Esports Spring Season In Review

Ottawa, KAN. -  The Ottawa University esports program spring seasons have concluded, with some very notable results.

In League of Legends, the main roster finished in fourth place in the Midwest Esports Conference with an 8-5 record, and fell in the first round of the MEC Conference Playoffs to Ohio State by a 0-2 score.

The League of Legends Black Team finished NECC competition with a 3-4 record. In CLOL play, they finished the regular season with a 4-1 record, and won the North Division championship, winning four best-of-five series in the process. They continued that run to the Open Division National Championship, winning four more best-of-five series to win the Open Division National Championship.

The Valorant squad went 3-2 in the regular season, qualifying them for the North Division playoffs. They fell in the round of 16 after an opening round win.

The Call of Duty team qualified for the playoffs in Collegiate Call of Duty, dropping their first playoff match.

The Rainbow Six Seige team finished 1-5 and failed to qualify for the NECC playoffs.
