OTTAWA, Kan. - The Ottawa women's soccer team ends the non-conference portion of their schedule as they travel east to Stephens.

• The Braves are coming off a 0-1 loss to (RV) Hastings on Saturday evening in Hastings.
• In that game, Ottawa held the Broncos off until the 80th minute, when Norah Stewart found Jessie Chartier for the latter to score. In total Makena Tapia made four saves for Ottawa.
• Ottawa has three players with one goal each: Samantha Pruett, Liv Staberg, and Peyton Hack. Riley Smith has the Braves' lone assist.
• Stephens is 1-4-1 on the season, with a 9-0 win over NCAA Division III Blackburn and a 2-2 tie with future Ottawa opponent Saint Mary (KS).
• The Stars are coming off a 0-2 loss at NCAA Division III Westminster on Wednesday.
• Anna Leininger is Stephens' leading goalscorer with five goals, and Leininger and Moriah Carnahan are the Stars' joint-assists leaders with two each.
• This will be the fourth meeting between Ottawa and Stephens, Ottawa has won all three previous meetings.
• The most recent meeting came on August 25, 2021 when Ottawa won 4-3 in Ottawa.
• Ottawa is searching for their first road non-conference win since their 2020 season opener when they beat Stephens in Columbia, 4-1.
