Women's Soccer Set to Host (10) Oklahoma Wesleyan

OTTAWA, Kan. - The Ottawa women's soccer team welcomes a top ten team to Ottawa as they take on (10) Oklahoma Wesleyan.

The Braves are coming off a 3-1 win over Bethel (KS) on Saturday.
In that game, Cennet Oruc found the back of the net off a cross from Melissa Grohmann in the sixth minute. Peyton Hack connected with a long through ball by Kyndel Adams in the 23rd minute. Ottawa let in an own goal in the 73rd minute, and in the 76th minute Riley Smith headed a ball in from Lily Martin.
Peyton Hack is Ottawa's leading goalscorer with three goals, two other players have two goals each. Riley Smith and Melissa Grohmann lead in assists with two each.
Oklahoma Wesleyan is 5-1-1 on the season overall and 2-0-0 in KCAC play.
The Eagles are coming off a 7-0 win at home over Sterling on Saturday.
Three players lead Oklahoma Wesleyan in goals with five each, and Linn Joelsson is the Eagles' assists leader with four.
Oklahoma Wesleyan has not won just two games, with their loss being to (6) Missouri Valley and their tie coming with (6) John Brown.
Ottawa and Oklahoma Wesleyan have met 18 times, with the Eagles leading the series 11-7-0.
